The interaction with other drugs
Felodipine increases the concentration of digoxin in plasma, but changes dosage of felodipine is required.
Inhibitors of cytochrome test suspension cycle (eg cimetidine, erythromycin, itraconazole, ketoconazole) slow felodipine metabolism in liver, increasing the plasma concentration of the drug.
Inductors microsomal enzymes ( phenytoin, carbamazepine, rifampicin, barbiturates) reduce the concentration of felodipine in plasma. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs do not weaken the antihypertensive effect of felodipine.
The high degree of felodipine being associated with proteins does not affect the bondability free fraction of other drugs (eg, warfarin). Do not use simultaneously felodipine with grapefruit juice. Beta-blockers, verapamil, tricyclic antidepressants and diuretics enhance the hypotensive effect of felodipine.
Inhibitors of cytochrome (cimetidine, erythromycin, ketoconazole, itraconazole,  protease inhibitors, grapefruit juice) slowing down the metabolism of the drug in the liver, increase its concentration in the plasma: itraconazole – the  of felodipine increased by 8 times, C max – 6 times, with erythromycin with grapefruit juice -. 2 times respectively
Inductors microsomal oxidation – phenytoin, carbamazepine, phenobarbital, rifampin, tincture herb St. John’s wort – reduce the test suspension cycle of felodipine.
Increasing the concentration of tacrolimus in the blood plasma of a joint application (recommended monitoring of tacrolimus plasma concentrations and possible dosage adjustment).
Cyclosporin increases C max of felodipine (effect of felodipine on the pharmacokinetic parameters of cyclosporine minimum). Cimetidine increases  felodipine.

Specific guidance
drug felodipine, as well as other vasodilators, in rare cases can cause significant hypotension, which in a number of susceptible patients can lead to myocardial ischemia. There is currently no data on the appropriateness of the drug as a secondary prevention of myocardial infarction.
Felodipine is effective and well tolerated by patients, regardless of gender and age, as well as patients with concomitant diseases such as asthma and other lung diseases; impairment of renal function;diabetes; gout; hyperlipidemia; Raynaud’s syndrome, and after lung transplantation.
Felodipine has no effect on the concentration of blood glucose and lipid profile.

Effects on ability to drive vehicles and management mechanisms :
patients who during treatment with test suspension cycle felodipine weakness observed, dizziness, should abandon the vehicle driving and work that requires attention and concentration.
